Before you publish this: this policy accurately describes what the site's code actually does today. If you're not a lawyer, it's still worth a quick review by one before relying on it for legal compliance, especially if you expect visitors from the EU/UK (see the note near the bottom about consent requirements).

What This Site Does With Your Data

The Image Post Generator and Manual News Post Generator tools run entirely in your browser. Any heading, sub heading, or photo you use is processed locally on your device to create your image — none of it is uploaded to, or stored on, our servers.

The Feedback page stores what you submit — your name, an optional email address, your optional written feedback, and an optional star rating — in our database (hosted by Supabase) so it can be displayed to other visitors. This is the only place on the site where information you enter is sent to a server and retained.

The Manual News Post Generator sends the news headline and source URL you enter to Google's Gemini AI (via a secure server-side function) to generate a suggested heading, question, and image prompt. This content is not stored by us afterward. See the Gemini entry below for how Google may use this data.

Third-Party Services We Use

Supabase — stores feedback submissions. See Supabase's privacy policy.
Netlify — hosts this website. See Netlify's privacy policy.
Google Fonts — loads the typefaces used on this site, which may involve your browser making a request to Google's font servers.
Google Gemini API (Google AI Studio) — powers the Manual News Post Generator's suggestions. We use Google's free tier, under which Google may use submitted prompts and generated responses to improve their products, and human reviewers may read this data. Only the news headline and source URL you enter are sent — no personal information. See Google's Gemini API terms.
Google AdSense / Google Ads — [If/once you enable ads on this site] this site may show ads served by Google. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
